Kate Lengwasa is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in banking, financial management, and business consulting. Her career began at First National Bank (FNB), where she held various roles in investments and credit control, applying her expertise in Financial and Cost Accounting.
She then joined Nedbank as a Branch Manager, overseeing customer service, cash handling, credit management, sales and marketing, and bad debt control. Her leadership skills and ability to drive performance led to her being headhunted by Capitec Bank, where she once again excelled as a Branch Manager. Her branch consistently outperformed targets, earning her a promotion to Regional Manager after completing her MBA. In this role, she successfully managed a network of six branches, handling human resources, business operations, financial reporting, and profitability management.
With a strong foundation in finance, leadership, and business strategy, Kate Lengwasa transitioned into the consulting space, becoming the Executive Director of Kwetso Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd.
